In occasion of our 2013 Ashley Tisdale Birthday Project, we at AshleyTisdale.org along with our amazing supporters are going to get Ashley for her 28th birthday an original fan poster sign!

We all come from different countries, we all have different ages and different aspects. But that’s what makes a fandom special! So why not collecting all of our pictures together into a big poster and send it to Ashley to wish her a special happy birthday? It’s possible… and WE’RE DOING IT!

BuzzFeed FASHION got to interview Ashley this week, while on her promotion trip in New York City, to chat on Cracker Jack’D, her covers on Maxim and Allure magazines and… declining BFF Zac Efron’s invitation to work out together! Would you do the same? Umm, we highly doubt!

Do you work out with Zac Efron?
AT: I haven’t talked to him in so long. He’s been doing movie after movie after movie, so he’s been, like, MIA for the last couple months. But I talked to him two months ago — he texted me. But I mean, his workouts are really different compared to mine, so I would never. He’s like, “Come over to the house! Let’s work out!” And I’m like, “No.”

 

Is it weird for your family to see you in those kinds of photo shoots?
AT: Probably for my dad, yeah. He’s like, “That’s weird.” My mom came by the set that day. I like to step out of my comfort zone, but I definitely care what my parents think. She was actually fine — I’ve done worse that that. I’ve done an Allure photo shoot where I was naked.

 

Did they let you wear nude underwear or anything? Sometimes they just Photoshop panties out.
AT: There was no Photoshopping in that one. The reason why I did that was because it’s all about being comfortable in a woman’s body. I would never do that again.

Ashley recently chatted with Esquire this week, while doing some press in NYC for Cracker Jack’D, and dished on her new challenges and what it was like for her to co-work with Mike Tyson in Scary Movie 5.

Check a few quotes from the interview below!

ESQ: And now you’re similarly jumping from Disney to some more adult roles.
AT: It was definitely time for me, because I’m 27 and I feel like my audience has really grown up, too. I mean, the kids that watched High School Musical are all in college now. So this was a way to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. You always have to push yourself a little bit, right?

 

ESQ: Absolutely. And for you that means starring in Scary Movie 5, as opposed to just showing up in an ensemble cast.
AT: Yeah, it was challenging. I had never been in every single scene before, so it was a lot of work and a lot of hours. And Scary Movie was a different type of comedy than I’m used to. I’ve mostly done sitcoms, so working with David Zucker, who wrote the film and who directed the last two Scary Movies and Airplane and Naked Gun, was a lot of help.

 

ESQ: And now you’re prepping to reboot Left Behind?
AT: Yeah. I loved the script and I read the books, and it just was something different. The film is a little different that the books, just because the books are a little more Biblical, I guess. But the film’s going to be an action drama, which I’ve never really done before, so I thought it would be cool for me to try out.

During her promotion trip in the Big Apple, Ashley attended the 2013 CAA Upfronts Party on Tuesday night (May 14th) in New York City, NY. The Tiz kept it chic and feminine, rocking a cute top-knot and a silver mini dress. Other celebrities in attendance included ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actor Eric Dane, ‘Gilmore Girls’ actress Lauren Graham and ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ David Boreanaz.

Ashley is currently in New York City to do a little bit of promotion. The Scary Movie 5 lead star sat down with Leigh Blickley of HuffPost Celebrity for a couple of questions of their new #nofilter questions-and-answers series: a chance for readers to read all the stars guilty pleasures and truths straight from the source.

The Tiz dished on several topics, including her workout and food routine, being on the cover of Maxim, partnering with Cracker Jack’D and many more!

What’s your favorite Cracker Jack’d flavor?
My favorite flavor is the Chocolate Peanut Butter.

 

We saw you in Maxim recently — what was it like posing topless?
I don’t really look at it as bad, but it was really fun and it was definitely a different experience. I’m really proud of what I do and how I work out and so I thought it was perfect for the movie that I just had come out, “Scary Movie.” Because I feel like it’s definitely for an older audience and I’ve grown up, you know, I’m 27 now and so I feel like the magazine really portrayed that to my fans.

 

What shows are always on your DVR?
Anything from Bravo. I love “The Walking Dead,” and “Sons of Anarchy” and then also “American Horror Story,” I’m a big fan of those.

As we previously let you know, Ashley partnered with Frito-Lay North America for the launch of their new product line called Cracker Jack’D. The 27-year-old attended First Time with Cracker Jack’D this afternoon (May 15th) to take part in a special meet and greet, during which she took pics with fans and gave away a few snacks, held at Madison Square Park in New York City, NY.

Earlier in the day, clad in Finders Keepers dress, the brunette hottie was snapped as she left the Fox studios after doing some tv interviews on FOX & Friends and FOX 5 News. Enjoy the pics!

Earlier this year, we at AshleyTisdale.org were the first to exclusively reveal you Ashley’s 5th tattoo (4th, if you don’t count the ☆ symbol) and its meaning. The Scary Movie 5 actress recently told Maniac Magazine, while shooting a behind-the-scenes of her photo shoot (available above) what could’ve been a real terrible tattoo experience!
