Nine Zero One January Hairstyles

We at AshleyTisdale.org teamed up once again with our favorite girls at Nine Zero One Salon for an exclusive collaboration feature that you’re totally going to love if you’re a big fan (just like us) of Ashley’s hair! Let’s be honest: Ashley’s hair never looked better than it did earlier this year in January, as we got the chance to admire brand new and sophisticated hairstyles the Tiz never rocked before. Fishtails, twists into twists and a whole lot more!
All of the beautiful and impeccable hairstyles we saw her wearing in January were done by the gorgeous and talented Morgan Parks, who constantly takes care of Ashley’s hair when she stops by the Nine Zero One. So we decided to get her involved in this exclusive collaboration, in order to help you re-create the same exact hairstyles which Ashley rocked in January.
We’ve been working on this feature for more than a month, so we really hope you enjoy it!

Name of the hairstyle: Hipster Headband
Time required: 45 min (with blow dry and curl) / 10 min (without)
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
How to: Using a 1 and 1/4 curling iron, we start by waving the hair to give a slight bend. Then by choosing two 1-inch thick sections from directly behind the ear, we will fishtail-braid each section down using a clear rubber band to hold the braid in place. After the hair has been braided, we criss cross them over the head watching the placement, making sure they sit properly on the crown of the head. Secure with bobbi pins and spray a light mist of hair spray to hold in place.

Name of the hairstyle: 8-Minute Do
Time required: 8 min (with air dried hair)
Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
How to: Riawna started with Ashley’s naturally dried beachy waves and from the right side, working towards the left, she began twisting the hair up and tucking it in while also adding in some small knots to give more texture. Pinning as she went, she wanted to keep the look loose and effortless looking.

Name of the hairstyle: Chic Rocker Ponytail
Time required: 25 min
Difficulty: ★★★★★
How to: Start by blowdrying the hair back away from the face to help ensure flyaways and the direction of the style has been set. Proceed with small teasing at the crown to create some height and then, with smooth brush, just gently pull the hair in place at the top of the nape and secure with a tight rubber band. Using a firm hairspray around the hairline and sides, we wanted to give a sleek sharp look. Always checking the style from all angles, making sure there is enough volume created in the back. After ponytail is in place, wrap a small portion of the hair around the rubberband to cover. Finish with texture spray onto the pointail to give more edge.

Name of the hairstyle: Braid Into Side
Time required: 25 min (use the help of a mirror behind you for best results)
Difficulty: ★★★★☆
How to: We made sure to have a really clean smooth blowout and big thick waves with a 1 and 1/4 iron. First we chose which side we would like the hair to be swept to, and then started on the opposite side by having a tight inside out french braid, going along the hairline down the bottom of the neck, continuing with the french braid and cinching it into a side pointail in order to assure fullness on the opposing side. Then to create a fun look, we did a small fishtail incorporating Ashley’s purple pop pieces.
One more special thank you to Morgan Parks for all the time dedicated to us! Such a lovely girl to work with!

Oh wow thanks for having this awesome idea and thanks for sharing it with us! I will try all of them but I think the result won’t be as good as she did! However I will give my best, because Ash looks beautiful in all of them! Again a big thanks! :)
@Vanessa you’re so welcome! I’m glad you find this feature interesting and I hope you’ll have fun trying to re-create Ashley’s January hairstyles :) even for those who won’t use this feature as a kind of guide, I hope they find it nice and interesting to read!
I’ve had lots of fun (even though it took lots of time and patience) to put all of this together :) I like the final result!
